In February 2002 a significant leak occurred to in the bay window of the lounge after appox five days of occupation of my Persimmon home. You will see bricks have been removed from the front elevation of my Persimmon home since July 2002 and have been left by the builder. Finally Tesco Insurance in February 2007 confirmed the cavity tray had been placed too low evidence that NHBC still does not accept this is a breach of their Standards and Building Regulations. The cost of this repair to my Persimmon Home is estimated at £6000 and water continues to penetrate the brickwork resulting in water damage to the internal plasterwork. Cavity trays are missing from above the roofline slope of the conservatory, porch area and the abutment over the garage all which are breaches of Building Regulations. SEE PDF PHOTOS
